Reforge Global exists to give great science a fighting chance.
Built within General Inception, a deep tech venture studio, Reforge Global was created to meet a specific need: investors and founders who required an operational partner willing to get inside and do the work.
We have worked inside life science and deep tech companies at their most critical moments. Stabilizing operations and extending runway. Rebuilding teams. Restarting commercial pipelines.

John Saunders
FounderJohn Saunders brings a rare combination of scientific training, business acumen, and operational experience to every engagement.
With a PhD in Bioengineering from the University of Pennsylvania completed at 24, his doctoral research continues to be cited over 600 times.
His career spans McKinsey, turnaround and transformation work, and operational leadership inside the General Inception portfolio ecosystem, always focused on execution at the moments that matter most.
John founded Reforge Global on the belief that great science deserves better than to fail on execution. He works directly inside every engagement, not above it.
